'How am I supposed to play my mandolin with these darn socks on my hooves?!'

Wanted to do a proper vector in tribute to my favorite brony musician, Mandopony. Love his OC, handsome fellow.

Any feedback is welcome so I can make it PERFECT before I tweet Mando about it. XD

Update: I'm trying to learn how to add some lighting and shadow to some of my vectors so I went back to an old one of mine to try it out. Here's the result. Shiny, shiny hair. Also, I have slightly changed the cutie mark, creating a somewhat simplified version of the original mark, to try and make it look more show-accurate.

HEH. Y'know, I was pondering making a more MLP-style cutie mark for him, everyone uses the hi-def mandolin, but it does look a little out place to my eye.
